Discovery Park

Discovery Park

Discovery Park is Meridian’s newest and biggest regional park, packed with fun for all ages. Located in south Meridian at 2121 E. Lake Hazel Road (between Eagle and Locust Grove), this 64-acre park is full of exciting activities and one-of-a-kind features.

Kids will love the playground and splash pad, complete with sand and water play areas, roller slides, a small climbing wall, and even dual zip lines. The Active Area is a dream for sports lovers, featuring six pickleball courts, two dual-striped tennis/pickleball courts, bocce ball, a 40-yard dash challenge, and basketball courts.

For teens, there’s a dedicated space with a skatepark, sand volleyball, hammock poles, and a WiFi-equipped shelter perfect for hanging out. Bikers will enjoy the bike park and pump track, while softball players can take advantage of three fields (two with lights for night games).

Other park highlights include public art, artisan benches, picnic shelters, paved walking paths, a restroom/concession building, and even plans for a future community garden.

There’s always something to explore at Discovery Park so come check it out!
