We are so glad you’ve chosen to live in Pinnacle. Our community is under development and each month we will send out a newsletter via email to update residents on what’s going on in the neighborhood, or remind you about rules, and share information. If you have not already done so, sign up with the Lifestyle Team, so you know about upcoming events and activities coming soon. Please reach out to Management should you have any questions. Pumpkin Trailer
Don’t forget to come out to the Market at the Amp (located behind the library) on Wednesday, September 24th, from 5-8:00pm to purchase pumpkins from the local Helms Family Farm. Idaho Mini Donuts will be joining the festivities offering freshly-made sweet treats.
Irrigation Shut Off
The irrigation season is coming to a close. Water distribution will be shut off on October 7th. Don’t forget to schedule your sprinkler blowouts.
Daylight Hours
Fall is here and it’s getting dark earlier. Please ensure your home’s exterior lights are on from dusk till dawn. Illuminated surroundings enhance community safety and deter opportunistic crime.
Fall Lawn Care Tips
Fighting weeds is a year-round battle, so don’t forget fall weed control. It’ll give you a jump on a healthier lawn in the spring. While weeds are working hard on their top growth in the summer, in fall they’re storing energy in their root system, which means they’re more susceptible to herbicide applications.
Zap them now, and it will be harder for them to send their roots deeper into the ground. Applying weed killer in the fall will get rid of many perennial broadleaf weeds like dandelions, clover, thistle, etc.
Holiday Lighting
Summer has flown by, kids are back in school and, before you know it, the holiday season will be here. We are already seeing companies advertise their lighting services, attracting homeowners with early installation discounts and extra savings for those willing to display promotional yard signs. A reminder, both services being offered to homeowners violate the community guidelines below:
- Holiday decorations may be installed 30 days prior to the holiday and must be removed within 30 days after the holiday.
- No advertising yard signs are permitted.
Pedestrian Safety
The kids are back to school and walking to and from the bus stops. Parents and caregivers, help your youngsters understand the importance of bicycle and street crossing safety. Motorists, reduce your speed while driving in the community and be vigilant of youngsters biking, walking and playing.
SO|ME District – Calendar of Events
The SO|ME District and Amphitheater teems with vibrant energy, offering an array of activities ranging from live music performances, workshops, food trucks, yoga/fitness classes and a bustling farmers’ market and more. Pet Responsibility
When you walk your dog, clean up after them. It’s your responsibility as a pet owner. No one wants to step in dog poop! Think about other people and keep the sidewalks and green spaces clean and never allow your dog to use a neighbor’s lawn to do this business! Always carry a bag with you. Your neighbors will appreciate it!
Parking Reminders
Your garage should be used for parking automobiles first before storage or anything else. Driveways can be used for parking after the garage is filled with automobiles. Please be sure to use the garage first.
Vehicles like campers, trailers, boats, etc. can be out for a period of no more than 24 hours. This is meant for the purpose of loading, unloading, or maintenance, and then should be returned to off-site storage.
