SO|ME Amp at Pinnacle Celebrates Launch with First Public Events
MERIDIAN, ID — July 15, 2025 — The SO|ME Amp at Pinnacle is open and already becoming a hub for community connection, creativity, and fun. After years of planning, the new outdoor venue in the heart of Meridian’s Pinnacle community has begun hosting its first public events — and this summer’s lineup is just getting started.
The very first public event took place on Tuesday, July 8, when the SO|ME Amp welcomed families to a special story time for kids, presented by the World Center of Birds of Prey in partnership with the Meridian Library District. The event delighted young readers and bird lovers alike, offering an interactive and educational experience in a vibrant outdoor setting.
Since then, the space has continued to buzz with excitement as more events roll out, offering residents and visitors a reason to come together and enjoy all that the new venue has to offer.

Grand Opening Celebration Set for August 27
To celebrate this milestone, the official Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the SO|ME Amp will be held on Tuesday, August 27 from 5:00–8:00 PM. The Meridian Chamber of Commerce will perform a ceremonial ribbon cutting at 5:30 PM, officially commemorating the space as a new staple in the local arts and events scene.
The evening will feature something for everyone:
- Food trucks
- Face painting
- Games and activities
- Live DJ entertainment
- And the always-popular SO|ME Market will be set up around the amphitheater, offering local goods and artisan finds.
This celebration marks a new chapter for the SO|ME District, designed to foster walkability, social connection, and outdoor enjoyment for the entire community.
